Welcome to the Haileybury Information and Knowledge Service
Our libraries, collections and services are designed to support the teaching and learning at the School. The on-line catalogue and the eLibrary are available using this site.
HIKS boasts an exceptional eLibrary allowing pupils of all ages to access information to support their learning and personal interests. The eLibrary contains multimedia databases, educational videos, magazines, ebooks and teaching resources. These resources are available to our pupils from anywhere in the world.
Our catalogue allow users quick and efficient access to information about items in our collections. Extra information is available in the catalogue on books, authors and related items in the collection. The catalogue allows the pupils to discover the possibilities that knowledge offers.
The Special Collections at Haileybury offer an enrichening experience for our pupils. Greek antiquities, photographs, literary manuscripts, drawings and personal papers of former pupils offer perspectives on culture and history that a textbook may not be able to offer.
HIKS is dedicated to supporting pupils to understand the importance of academic skills and information literacy as tools to support creativity and research. Understanding the changes in accessing and using information is one of the key challenges in the World today.
