The Main Library is dedicated to the support of teaching and learning throughout the School forms with collections of books, journals and audio visual resources. Together, these collections form a vital important resource for pupils following the curricula for the Lower School, Removes and examination courses. The fiction collections (junior, young adult (YA) and adult) exist to interest, challenge and encourage reading amongst the entire pupils.

There are over 30,000 volumes in the Main Library collection that support subjects, courses and the diverse interests of the users. The resources in the library are fully catalogued and can be searched by using the HIKS Catalogue. Using the HIKS site every user can access the catalogue and the eLibrary in one place.

The library provides pupils and staff with inspiring resources that encourage life-long learning and a culture of intellectual curiosity.
